Fill out the Organisation Pledge Form to officially commit your organisation to using only sustainable palm oil in your food supply chain.
Check your products for use of palm, and make at least one change from a product that contains unsustainable palm oil to one that contains sustainable palm oil.
This can be as simple as looking at the ingredients list, or by sending a Supplier Questionnaire to your food suppliers (we can provide this questionnaire). Suppliers should be able to tell you which products contain palm oil, and whether they are RSPO certified or not.
If you do not use palm oil in your products, you can still become a Champion by writing a policy, making a commitment to sourcing only sustainable palm oil in the future.
Set a target date by which your organisation will exclusively source 100% sustainable palm oil for all products. Continue to engage with your suppliers to encourage them to switch to sustainable palm oil.
Publish a statement on your website and social media platforms outlining your commitment to sourcing sustainable palm oil. Share the date by which you aim to transition completely to sustainable palm oil. Upon becoming a champion, receive window stickers to proudly display your participation in the Dorset Sustainable Palm Oil Community.
Once you have completed the above steps, you are officially recognised as a Sustainable Palm Oil Champion.
Complete a supplier audit form annually to ensure ongoing compliance and to monitor any new product introductions.
